Featuring Larry Livingston

Mr. Livingston has appeared with the Houston Symphony, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Green Umbrella Series, at the Festival de Musique in France, with the Stockholm Wind Orchestra, the Leopoldinum Orchestra in Poland, the Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra in Rumania, and the Pan Pacific Festival Orchestras in Sydney. Maestro Livingston regularly conducts All-State Ensembles across the United States, including twelve appearances at the Texas All State Festival.  In 2013-2024, Maestro Livingston conducts the All-State Bands or Orchestras of Arizona, Kentucky, California, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, New Mexico, Washington, Michigan, and Texas, leads the Sewanee Music Festival Orchestra, serves again as clinician for the Disney Honors Program, and returns to Katowice, Poland to conduct the opening concert in an international festival of European Academy orchestras.  He has appeared as principal clinician in orchestral conducting workshops in Canada, France, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and throughout the United States.

Mr. Livingston has held positions as Vice President of the New England Conservatory of Music, Dean of the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, and Dean of the USC Thornton School of Music, where he Chairs the Conducting Department, and Acting President of Westminster Choir College.  Recently inducted into the Music for All Hall of Fame, Mr. Livingston appeared in the “Lights Out” episode of Glee and was featured as a mentor in the USA Cable Network Television series, “The Moment.”
